Going to south and central Africa was a bucket list item for me and booking a big and expensive trip always feels a bit risky and you hope you have made the right choice.

Booking with Discover Africa was fantastic from beginning to end! Our trip coordinator, Susan Veldman, was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns and she checked in with us throughout the trip to make sure things were going smoothly. I especially appreciated the video call with her prior to leaving.

It was really great to be able to ask any remaining questions and she provided us with all the information we would need once we were there. The whole trip was seamless, from our transfers to the flights to the camps.

I was particularly impressed with Desert and Delta Safaris, the company who ran the camps in Botswana. The accommodations, food and staff were incredible! I would highly recommend booking with Discover Africa and I would book with them again if I decided to return.

This was our first experience using an online booking agent and it was outstanding. Justin went through our requirements even though we were pretty sure we knew what we wanted (we really didn’t!) and came up with a plan that met our needs, including coordination with our existing travel plans. There were many moving parts to our schedule, but every step was thoroughly planned out so there was no stress – first class service all around! The clear standout of our entire trip was our stay at Simbambili with our incredible guide and tracker, Doctor and Service. They are worth a request! Obviously a ton of work went into the planning up front, but Matthys was also very helpful and responsive to our last minute add-ons while we were in Africa. We travelled last August on a trip planned with Dev at Discover Africa. It was a family trip that i wanted us to remember forever and we definetly will! We could not have had an easier or more wonderful time and we would never have been able to plan and manage it ourselves.

We visited Botsana, Victoria Falls and Sabi Sands in South Africa then Mozambique. Every experience was better than we had hoped. Everyone who was part of our experience was so helpful and friendly and went the full measure to make sure we enjoyed our special holiday.

We were so lucky with every safari and saw so many animals, we had wonderful river trips seeing a great deal of wildlife, beautiful birds and even crocs eating a kill rather than just sunbathing. Everyday bought another surprise. Thank you to Dev and the team – your help was so appreciated.

The safari itself was exceptional. We stayed at Kambaku River Sands in Timbavati, where comfort blends naturally with the wild. Our guide and tracker were skilled and passionate, turning every drive into something memorable. Each outing felt unhurried and authentic, with remarkable wildlife moments unfolding at their own rhythm: lions on the move, elephants at play, and leopards appearing from the shadows.
