Sabi Sands and Kruger Safari

We live in Australia and I honestly didn’t know who to contact about organising a trip of a lifetime and I really wanted someone that knew Africa and not someone that was from Australia and just guessed.

I found Discover Africa on TikTok and got in touch with Justin and my gosh I am so beyond happy we did!

He was amazing from day one. He answered all my questions even the ones I felt were a bit silly to ask but it was no problem at all. He was beyond fantastic! There are no words that I explain what Justin did for us and the experience he has given us that will remain with us for a lifetime.

The itinerary was incredible with some extras he booked that I wouldn’t even of thought about! He organised everything from transfers to accommodation flights to a sunset cruise that were all beyond amazing! We will never ever be able to thank you enough Justin but if you live anywhere in the world and want to have an experience of a lifetime then book with Justin from Discover Africa!!!

Discover Africa- Susan Veldman-was fantastic to work with. She responded promptly to our questions and needs and she put together several itineraries to choose from based on our budget and wish list.

We toured Capetown and 10 days on safari spread between 2 different camps, Beck’s and Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. Beck’s was very intimate and the food was phenominal. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is one of the best in the business and the quality shows through at every instance.

Susan kept in constant contact and she was available for every need. Our trip was smooth, well planned, and just incredibly satisfying!

AT's Cape Town and Safari Experience

I just got back from a truly wonderful trip to South Africa, organised by DiscoverAfrica. We spent 4 nights in Cape Town, 3 in Franschhoek and 3 at Arathusa Lodge in Sabi Sands. The transfers organised between all these locations were faultless and very professional. The highlight had to be the safari lodge at the end. We saw all the Big 5—lots of leopards, including 2 cubs, lions (and a cub), a baby hippo, baby elephants, a baby giraffe, hyenas, white rhinos, and many others.

The rangers and trackers are superb; we hadn’t seen a buffalo until the last 10 minutes of our last game drive. I still can’t fathom how our tracker saw the buffalo through all the bush! I can’t recommend Discover Africa enough; they were always prompt in responding to queries and changes, which we had to sort out, and it was all done with no issues.

Discover Africa took my husband’s outline of where we were interested in travelling and turned it into a fantastic trip. Diane at Discover Africa recommended the lodges we stayed at in South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana, and all were first-rate. Each place had something special about it, and each had wonderful safari guides. We had an amazing two weeks and can recommend Discover Africa Safaris without qualification. This was my second visit to Kruger National Park, and once again, Discover Africa organized an exceptional experience. I stayed at three different private game reserves, each offering a unique charm. The seamless transfers between parks were stress-free, allowing me to fully enjoy the journey. From the warm greetings by staff upon arrival to the luxurious accommodations, delectable food, and top-notch amenities, everything exceeded my expectations. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the game drives, where I witnessed breathtaking wildlife in their natural habitat. I truly felt pampered and cared for throughout my stay. I didn’t want for anything during this remarkable adventure.

Gary's Safari Experience

All was quiet at Masodini Lodge when we heard the roars of a female lion calling for her pride to help feed her babies, she’d recently been wounded. She must have been at least 500m away but sounded like she was at the foot of our door. The sound still rumbles through me.
