Day 1

Volcanoes National Park

Staying at Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge

You arrive at Kigali airport and transferred directly to the lodge. If you arrive late in the day you will need to add a pre-night in Kigali, let us know if we should add this overnight to the tour. You will be transferred by road from the airport to the lodge. Check in and relax, walk in the gardens, and enjoy the nature around you. You can chat to the staff at the lodge to book optional excursions such as coffee tasting, chocolate and wine tasting, or to rent a bike and cycle the area. Dinner is included and have an early night in preparation for your trek tomorrow.

Day 2

Volcanoes National Park

Staying at Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge

Early wake up and transfer to the Park Headquarters on time for the briefing. The park rangers allocate the different group (you can hike for several hours depending on the gorillas location) and you depart on the most amazing trek in search of the mountain gorillas. In order to ensure the long-term viability of the gorillas population, once spotted, you will be limited to one hour of observation. You will get the opportunity to see young apes playing with one another, mothers nursing and silverbacks overseeing their pod. Return to the headquarters and transfer back to the lodge. Balance of the day is at leisure with lunch and dinner included at the lodge. ** this is a wildlife experience that is subject to weather and gorilla movements **

Day 3

End Of Itinerary

Breakfast and check out. Today you are transferred by road back to Kigali airport on time for your onward flight (flight should not be earlier than early afternoon to allow for the drive back). Fly back home or contact us to extend your journey.
