Affordable Cape Town, Kruger Safari and Victoria Falls journey

We picked Discover Africa Safaris due to recommendations from other friends. We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and did our bookings on very short notice; however, they did a great job finding the best alternatives in a compressed schedule that would fit our available days and budget. Our designated agent also kept on top of the logistics, with daily WhatsApp follow-ups in case of any contingencies or changes.

You may find cheaper options elsewhere, but if peace of mind is what you are looking for, we recommend them.

Working with Discover Africa on our safari trip to South Africa was absolutely wonderful. We had to worry about next to nothing because they provided so much support and assistance. Fantastic holiday. Tintswalo Manor was absolutely ideal for our family party of 11. We had the entire house to ourselves and were looked after really well. Fabulous food for all, wonderful safaris and a couple of surprises which made the whole holiday a magical experience for all of us.

Then off to Sun City for a few days which was also great.

Matthys looked after us extremely well from the moment we first contacted him. All queries were answered very promptly and all changes were made efficiently. The holiday itself was very well organized: all transfers were on time, clean vehicles, polite and helpful drivers.

We have had an incredible experience in South Africa and we can thank discover Africa and our agent Vihann for that. We have no complaints with the experiences organised, the transfers, or the accommodations; it was pretty much perfect all around.

If there is one note for improvement it would be that we felt that White River where we stayed for a few nights was quite remote for doing the panoramic tour and we thought Graskop might have been more central. But overall a 10/10 expereince.

Matthys van Aswegen from Discover Africa has planned an unforgettable trip to Zimbabwe for us. We had only 9 days holiday but Matthys has it perfectly thought out and we got the maximum one can get. We didn’t lose a minute and yet we enjoyed a relaxing journey.

We went to the Victoria falls, Hwange national park and lake Kariba park. Internal flights, cars, guides, everything was very well organised and everyone was waiting for us upon arrival. Just great!

Communication with Matthys was very easy and punctual, complete and clear answer to every question. He also gave us helpful advice.

The whole experience was excellent with a very efficient booking system and the airport pick-up was right on time.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the lodge was top class.

The food was a very high standard and the staff were extremely helpful. The morning and evening game drives were very informative and we saw everything that I expected to see over the 2 days.
