Affordable Cape Town, Kruger Safari and Victoria Falls journey

We really enjoyed our trip from South Africa to Botswana and Zimbabwe! Sometimes a lot of whether a trip is successful comes down to the logistics. In this case, Susan Veldman and the company took care of all details related to our accommodations, transitions between countries and transportation from day to day so that our trip was seamless. The vendors and their staffs (hotels, restaurants, drivers, etc.) were so helpful and friendly. The experience was amazing!

For organising just a great trip. Every destination was different, but all the accommodation was first class. The managers were first class and always had my transfers in hand. Took the helicopter ride at Victoria Falls really add to the walk along the Falls. The people in Botswana are wonderful and happy really added to the stay. The safaris were fantastic!

As soon as we chose Discover Africa to send us to Africa, we were constantly helped in planning the trip and were also continually guided during the trip. I felt as confident as possible that my wife and I were going to have a great trip. I appreciated the information we got about our lodging and activities at the 4 camps we stayed at. I also appreciated the quick responses by Susan Veldman to my every question leading up to the trip. And she often checked in with us while we were in Africa.

Despite our moving from camp to camp (my friend planned our itinerary) four times, everything went off without a hitch. We we were welcomed enthusiastically by the staff at each camp, including being serenaded when we arrived and at every dinner. The camps were well designed and well designed. They were way beyond anything we could imagine. The food was excellent and healthy choices were always offered.

Our lodging was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed night sounds of our surroundings, including the grunting Hippos in the river nearby. The guides assigned to us were skilful and very personable. They made sure we had endless opportunities safely to get up close to wildlife for photos that will last a lifetime. This was a remarkable trip, which we will never forget.

Megan, at Discover Africa, planned the perfect trip for us and at a good value. The itinerary was personalized for where & when we wanted to go, what we wanted to see, and how long we wanted to stay. The lodges she recommended were fantastic! (Victoria & Alfred in Cape Town, Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands, South Africa, Victoria Falls Lodge in Zimbabwe & Chobe Safari Lodge in Botswana).

She arranged all the transfers between countries, lodges, and activities. The safari drives, sunset boat cruises, Victoria Falls tour, drum show, and private boat tours were amazing and everything ran smoothly. We saw so many animals and beautiful sites. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Megan for answering our many questions, keeping us informed, not only throughout the planning process, but as we got closer to the trip & throughout our journey. Definitely use Discover Africa & especially Megan to plan the greatest adventure of your life!

We had a unforgettable time in Botswana and South Africa! Everything was well organized by Diane from Discover Africa! Great Lodges and all was always on time. We loved the animals/ game drives, the guides, landscapes and people. It was one of the best experiences of our lives.

Susanne's Safari Experience

We have had an incredible experience in South Africa and we can thank discover Africa and our agent Vihann for that. We have no complaints with the experiences organised, the transfers, or the accommodations; it was pretty much perfect all around.

If there is one note for improvement it would be that we felt that White River where we stayed for a few nights was quite remote for doing the panoramic tour and we thought Graskop might have been more central. But overall a 10/10 expereince.
