Affordable Cape Town, Kruger Safari and Victoria Falls journey

We are a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night holiday stay at Sun City Resort followed by 3 nights at Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge. It was very well organised and we did not have to worry about anything. Our tour operator, Susan was most helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The Game Lodge is outstanding with magnificent rooms and the food is amazing (5 stars). The safaris (6 in total) were everything you dream of. Sightings of many animals both morning and night.

I highly recommend Discover Africa Safaris as a great value-for-money holiday.

Christine's Safari Experience

We had the most memorable safari trip with Discover Africa Safaris. Susan put together the perfect itinerary for our first family safari. Her choices were excellent. We loved both safari lodges, and our accommodation in Cape Town was wonderful. Her recommendation for car rental in Cape Town was great, as we were able to drive to Hout Bay, Boulders Beach, and Cape Point easily. I would thoroughly recommend Susan to put together the perfect vacation!

From start to finish Lana was very helpful and easy to communicate with during the booking process. While on the holiday she or a colleague were always there on hand to quickly manage any queries or needs.

We booked this trip as our honeymoon and it was a trip of a lifetime! Lana had a few unexpected surprises, such as a unique lunch booking, planned for us which made our trip that extra special and memorable. Would highly recommend Discover Africa Safari. Would definitely book with them again.

Megan Warrington and Discover Africa made our 5 country African vacation a trip of a lifetime. She planned the perfect vacation for us. The pace was perfect, the sequence of countries was perfect, and the accommodations were truly amazing. She knew exactly what we wanted and needed along the way.

I would have never been able to put together such an amazing adventure. Discover Africa was there for us every step of the way. They made our connecting flights seamless, getting us through airports and border crossings quickly and easily.

They saved us so much time and energy, making the difficult things seem easy.

With Covid changing everyone’s travel plans, our trip was 2 years in the planning yet Megan was very understanding and patient with us. We changed dates and itineraries 2 or 3 times trying to make the trip possible and Megan just adjusted everything along the way so that our dream trip became a reality.

There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe this trip. Because we didn’t have a hand in planning it (our friend who invited us to join them did) we were a little nervous about all the opportunities for problems to arise (i.e., in the many transfers and handovers required to move from place to place, company to company, and country to country.)

We needn’t have worried one bit. Every step of the way the transfers were perfect; there was ALWAYS someone at the other end waiting for us. If I had any questions along the way I could just message our rep (Megan- the best!) and she would clarify in a very timely way.

Every place we stayed was great; every adventure perfectly fitted us. I would not change a single thing in our entire three-week adventure. I write a kind of travel blog and have people follow all my trips. Everyone was amazed at the things we did and saw, and many are wanting to follow our path and take this journey themselves.

And I encourage them to work with Discover Africa because everything was perfect. I travel a lot and have known my share of travel issues, but I did not have to do anything on this trip but enjoy it. And we enjoyed it immensely!

My wife and I spent a while doing research and talked to several groups to find the perfect balance of price, location, and luxury we were looking for on our 3 night safari as part of a honeymoon trip to South Africa.

Megan Warrington and her team understood exactly what we were looking for and found the perfect option for us (Jock Safari Lodge) that we wouldn’t have uncovered otherwise.

Not only that, but Discover Africa was so easy to deal with, very responsive any time we had questions, and provided just the right amount of communication in the lead up to our trip.

Frankly, I didn’t expect to enjoy the safari experience as much as I did. But it was incredible and now I’m trying to figure out a way to do it again. I’ll certainly be contacting Megan and Discover Africa for their guidance next time as well.
