Is the Mbamba for Me?
Located in the private NG12 Concession of Botswana’s Northern Okavango Delta, Mbamba Camp offers a year-round wildlife spectacle. Opening in April 2025, this Ralph Bousfield camp blends classic safari style with exceptional guided experiences. The camp features 12 air-conditioned canvas tents, including family units, shaded by leadwood trees.
The main area exudes charm with its draped fabric and ancient artifact collections. Relax in the lounges, enjoy the well-stocked bar, or unwind by the pool. Meals are served family-style, often under the stars, fostering lively conversations about the day’s adventures.
Mbamba’s varied habitat supports diverse wildlife, including rare species. It’s a prime area for observing wild dog packs and large lion prides. Activities range from game drives and night safaris to mokoro excursions and boat trips (water level dependent), ensuring an immersive Delta experience.
