Is the Kakuli for Me?
Take in the breathtaking river views from your seat on the bank of the Luangwa River. Locals dubbed Norman Carr, the inventor of walking safaris, “Kakuli,” which means “old buffalo bull.”
To maximise the panoramic setting, Kakuli offers five light-filled safari rooms (including a two-bedroom, two-bathroom family safari room), including a feather-top bed, indoor and outdoor baths and a covered open-air seating area. The main lounge’s elevated position overlooks the river and a permanent lagoon.
