Day 1-3

Masai Mara National Reserve

Staying at Serian’s Nkorombo

You arrive at Jomo Kenyatta (NBO) and will be transferred by road to Wilson airport. Depending on your time of arrival, you might need a pre-night in Nairobi.

Arrive at the Mara airstrip, where you are met by your safari guide and private vehicle. Transfer through the Masai Mara to Serian's Nkorombo Camp. Your 3x night stay includes all your meals, unlimited game viewing customized to your preferences, talk to your safari guide to plan your days.

Nkorombo is Serian’s tented camp, set on a private riverside site in the Masai Mara Reserve. This snug little setup is chock-full of character with a view over the rushing Mara River, bursting with laughing hippo and languorous crocodile. Life at Nkorombo is low-key and tranquil. Nestled among a stand of wild olive and orange croton, the camp is right next to a lively salt lick that regularly features black rhino, lion and leopard on the lookout for kill… There is an abundance of prey in this area, and it’s the perfect spot for spectacular game viewing.

Day 4-6

Mara North Conservancy

Staying at Ngare Serian

After breakfast, you will be transferred through the bush and local villages to the camp in the Mara North Conservancy, Ngare Serian.

Hugging the banks of the Mara, Ngare Serian is cosy and intimate. It can only be reached on foot, over a narrow rope bridge – and in a way the crossover is symbolic: a call to step out of touch and out of time, and give yourself over to the natural charm of the place. Ngare is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the 1,500 acres of exclusive conservation area. This allows for bush walks, night drives and fishing in the river, the diversity of the activities will enchant you. The nocturnal element of safari often gets forgotten, but you’ll see the clearest skies of your life in the bush: go on a night drive, cut the engine, switch off the lights, and marvel at the infinite glittering heavens.

Back at camp, the tents are dotted along the riverbank, decked out in style with Zanzibar four-poster beds and open bathrooms overlooking pods of hippo. Lounge languidly, soaking up the sights and sounds of the bush from the bathtub built into your veranda decking.

Day 7

End Of Itinerary

Last morning in the bush, transfer to the airstrip on time for the flight to Wilson. On arrival, road transfer to Jomo Kenyatta and time at leisure for your onward flight, or contact us to extend your trip with a stay in Laikipia, Samburu, meet with the gorillas in Uganda, or spend some time on the coast to relax at the beach.
