We are honored to partner with the first-ever luxury tented camp in Africa, Governors’ Camp Collection. Governors’ Camp has been providing traditional safaris for 50 years and is a true pioneer in the field.

Their close ties to the untamed and untamed parts of East Africa are what set Governors’ Camp Collection apart. The love of the jungle is obvious in the lodges built by the founder’s Aris and Romi Grammaticas, who were raised in the spirit of Africa.

With the intention of providing visitors with the unique experience of staying in the jungle and sleeping under canvas, they established their first Governors permanent luxury tented camp. This novel idea was unheard of at the time and has since become the benchmark for traditional safaris.

Governors’ Camp Collection has grown over the years to encompass seven lodges in Kenya and Rwanda, and they are committed to providing genuine and long-lasting benefits to local people. While staying loyal to their roots and their passion for Africa’s wild and untamed landscapes, they continue to provide guests with an immersive and unique safari experience.
