This itinerary is based on a Six-night Big Five Kruger Park Safari

Day 1

On arrival at Kruger National Park, you will be met and transferred to Rockfig Safari Lodge.

The Best Seven Day Kruger Park Safari Itinerary

Rockfig Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve which is adjacent to the famous Kruger National Park.

  • Enjoy a wholesome lunch, after which you will relax and freshen up for your afternoon game drive, with a traditional safari sundowner stop along the way.
  • Return to the lodge with a chance to freshen up before dinner is served.
  • Retire to your suite for some peaceful sleep before the next exciting day.

Overnight – Rockfig Safari Lodge

Day 2

An early morning wake-up call begins the day. Enjoy morning tea and coffee before heading out on your game drive.

  • Return to the lodge for a sumptuous and well-earned breakfast.
  • After breakfast, relax and unwind, enjoying the lodge facilities and soaking up the splendor of your surroundings.
  • Relax and enjoy lunch.
  • As the African sun begins to fade away, guests and rangers meet for afternoon tea before heading out on the evening game drive.
  • Return to the lodge with a chance to freshen up before dinner.
  • Retire to your suite for some peaceful sleep before the next exciting day

Overnight – Rockfig Safari Lodge

Inclusions at Rockfig Safari Lodge

  • Accommodation in luxury suites, all meals, local drinks, and laundry, daily safari game drives in open safari vehicles (3 – 4 hours long), and transfers to and from the lodge’s private airstrip.

Day 3

This morning after a morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred to the lodge airstrip for your chartered flight to Simbambili Game Lodge, where you will spend the next two nights on a Full Board Basis.

Simbambili Game Lodge is set in the Northern part of the famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve, part of the world-renowned Kruger National Park

  • Enjoy a wholesome lunch after which you will relax and enjoy lodge facilities and freshen up for your afternoon game drive.
  • Return to the lodge and freshen up for dinner.
  • Retire to your suite for some peaceful sleep before the next exciting day

Overnight – Simbambili Game Lodge 

Day 4

After your early morning wake-up call, you will depart for your morning game drive, where you will stop somewhere out in the bush for a break of coffee and tea.

  • Head back to the lodge where a hearty breakfast is waiting to be served.
  • After breakfast, partake in a bush walk which gives you a better chance to follow tracks in more detail.
  • The rest of the day is spent at the discretion of yourself for other activities that are on offer.
  • A late lunch is served at approximately 15h00 followed with an afternoon game drive which extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight.
  • Return to the lodge and freshen up for dinner
  • Retire to your suite for some peaceful sleep before the next exciting day.

Overnight – Simbambili Game Lodge

Inclusions at Simbambili Lodge

  • Accommodation in luxury suites, all meals, local drinks, and laundry, daily safari game drives in open safari vehicles (3 – 4 hours long), and transfers to and from the lodge’s private airstrip.

Day 5

Today, after your morning game drive, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your chartered flight to Sabi Earth Lodge where you will spend the next two nights on a Full Board Basis.

Sabi Earth Lodge is situated in the Southern part of the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park

  • After settling into your accommodation, lunch will be served, where you will meet your ranger and guide..
  • After lunch, a siesta is hard to beat or maybe a few laps in the pool. This is the time for you to relax.
  • Tea is served before heading out for your afternoon game drive with sundowners and snacks enjoyed in the bush.
  • Head back to the lodge for dinner.
  • With such an early wake-up call, it’s off to bed for some much-needed sleep.

Overnight – Sabi Earth Lodge

Day 6

Wake up Wake Up! Time for tea and coffee and your morning game drive enjoying a sunrise coffee in the bush.

  • Head back to the lodge where you can enjoy an opulent breakfast.
  • After breakfast, Time to relax enjoying lodge facilities or relaxing by the pool.
  • Lunch is served
  • Siesta / Relaxation time
  • Afternoon tea is served before departing on your afternoon game drive which extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight.
  • Return to the lodge and freshen up for dinner
  • Retire to your suite for some peaceful sleep before the next exciting day.

Overnight – Sabi Earth Lodge

  • Accommodation in luxury suites, all meals, local drinks, and laundry, daily safari game drives in open safari vehicles (3 – 4 hours long), and transfers to and from the lodge’s private airstrip.

Day 7

Today after a final morning game drive and breakfast, you bid farewell to the African Bush.

You will be transferred to the nearest airport for your onward flight home or your next destination.
