Is the Kananga Special Tented Camp for Me?

Situated at the foot of the Banagi Hills in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, the Kananga Special Tented Camp is a comfortable and reasonably priced tented camp based in Seronera. Surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and spectacular views, Kananga overlooks a beautiful savannah dotted with the East African thorn tree.

Each tent comprises of twin beds dressed in the finest traditional Indian cotton, Maasai blankets and furnished with carpets, bedside table and luggage racks.

An en-suite toilet and open air shower and your very own verandah are standard for each tent, in addition to ambient LED reading lights provided by the camp’s solar energy facility. Our communal mess tents are the ideal spot from which to sit back and relax after an exciting day’s safari and watch the zebras crossing Banagi Plain at sunset.
