Africa is ready and waiting to welcome guests to explore its pristine wilderness areas and magnificent wildlife.

A safari in Africa is a perfect exercise in social distancing. You are away from the crowds, lodges will have fewer people per game drive vehicle, dining options will be more personal - so overall you will be getting a more intimate and alternative safari experience.

Understandably, we are a bit nervous about travelling to very popular and crowded destinations. But, this does not have to be the case. If you are wanting the perfect social distancing vacation - think no further than Africa!

Sit back and imagine an African Safari - the best way to social distance is “In the African Bush!”

You arrive at your safari destination’s closest airport, where you are met and privately transferred to your secluded, intimate lodge, tucked away in the African Bush - a smaller lodge is perfect for social distancing as suites are private and far away from the next suite.

Lunch is served after a personal check-in and freshening up - Dining experiences at lodges are intimate and perfect for social distancing - you can even opt to have your meals served on the deck of your suite.

Get ready for an exhilarating afternoon game drive which lasts between 3 - 4 hours. These game drives are conducted in 4 x 4 safari vehicles and there is a minimum of 6 guests per vehicle. With social distancing in mind - lodges are now only allowing 4 people per vehicle - what an awesome way to social distance and on top of that have the most amazing game viewing experience - what a life!!

Head back to the lodge and freshen up for Dinner which can be enjoyed under the stars, or on your deck at your suite - the choice is yours…..

Morning time - Wakey Wakey -

Your day starts with an early morning wake up call - enjoy a cup of coffee or tea before heading out on a 3 to 4-hour early morning game drive in a 4 x 4 safari vehicle - enjoy the morning sights and sounds of the African bush waking up.

Breakfast is enjoyed at the lodge or even a secret spot in the Bush - there are always surprises waiting for you….

The rest of the morning can be spent enjoying the lodge facilities and activities on offer - or just relaxing on your deck - or even a mid-morning nap - whatever suits you.

The above is a typical day on Safari in the African Bush - away from the crowds and mayhem of every day. If you have been engrossed in your phone or computer following news updates and passing the hours on social media. Breathe in the fresh air - after being cooped up inside, your body and mind will appreciate the fresh air found in the African bush.

Stay inspired and come to Africa!
