Positioned in one of Hwange’s most wildlife-rich regions, where Kalahari sands meet teak woodlands and savannah plains, the area around Little Makalolo delivers excellent year-round game viewing. Lions, hyenas, and large herds of buffalos are often seen in the area. Back at camp, enjoy a dip in the pool and a sundowner, keeping an eye on the waterhole that attracts an abundance of wildlife.

Today you travel to a very different area, Mana Pools on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river. Hop on the scheduled charter flight in between camps and transfer to the lodge on time for lunch and the afternoon game viewing activity. Find adventure in the floodplains on a game drive in search of wildlife, or canoeing on the Zambezi River; possibility also to enjoy a nature walk, taking in the pristine beauty of this wild, wonderful place. Elephants are frequent visitors at Ruckomechi, tempted by the nutritious albida trees that shade the camp.
