This journey takes you to some of the sun-baked but ruggedly beautiful desert areas of Namibia. You’ll climb the enormous red-sand dunes of Sossusvlei and visit the dried out salt pan of Dead Vlei with its skeletal trees. You’ll experience untamed Damaraland which is home to desert-adapted elephant and rhino. Finally, you’ll fly to the remote Kunene Region in the far north-west of Namibia to meet the nomadic Himba people and marvel as the dry mountains unfold, layer after layer, beneath you.
