Staying at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge

Today you depart Johannesburg for your flight into Skukuza Airport, on arrival you will be met by a representative from Lion Sands for your transfer to Tinga Lodge. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes and on arrival, you have time to check-in at the lodge and enjoy the facilities of the lodge.

Staying at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge

An early start to your day as you enjoy an early morning game drive. As Lion Sands is a private game reserve within the Sabi Sand Reserve and in a private concession within the Kruger National Park, safaris are not confined to main roads, so the Guides are able to navigate through dense bush following the tracks of animals. With a limited number of vehicles on each property and strict criteria governing sightings, guests are able to spend extended periods of time watching wildlife in its natural habitat.

After your morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast followed by some relaxation time and then lunch. You can also enjoy a bush walk. In the late afternoon depart on your second game drive after which you return to the lodge for dinner.

End Of Itinerary

This morning depart on your early game drive for your last chance to enjoy the incredible game viewing that Lion Sands has to offer and hopefully spot the Big 5. Dependant on your flight departure time, after your game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and transfer to Skukuza Airport for your return flight back to Johannesburg.
