No trip to Livingstone is complete without taking time to savour the spectacle of the world’s largest curtain of water plummetting into the churning Boiling Pot below. Victoria Falls are magnificent and are well worth viewing more than once. For those visitors with the stomach for it, the Flight of Angels in a helicopter or, better still, a microlight provides an incredible bird’s-eye perspective of the thunderous cascade from above. Alternatively, climb aboard a river raft to view the falls from the depths of Batoka Gorge.
