Day 1

Masai Mara National Reserve

Staying at Governors’ Camp

Arrive at Wilson Airport to check in for the flight to the Masai Mara. The transfer to Wilson airport is not included, we can also add a pre-night in Nairobi if required, chat to us for options.

Arrive at the airstrip, where you are met by the camp's team and transfer to Governors Camp.

Your spacious safari tent is entirely under canvas, with a private verandah, an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin, flush toilet and hot and cold running water.

Depart on your safari in the afternoon, looking for the wildlife within the Masai Mara National Park.

Return to camp for dinner.

Enjoy daily game drives, your safari guide will plan your days to maximize the time in order to view the animals, depending on the season and weather.

The views across the rolling grasslands studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense of space overwhelming.

Throughout the year the Masai Mara is a place of natural drama, a kaleidoscope of colour and life, with superb game viewing opportunities, any time of the year.

Most breathtaking of all are the months between July and October, when the savannah teems with animals during the Great Wildebeest Migration. Millions of wildebeest gather in the Masai Mara in one of the natural wonders of the world.

End of Itinerary

After breakfast, you are transferred to the airstrip, on time for your return flight to Wilson Airport.

Your safari ends here, we can assist with a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta, or an extension to the beach, Amboseli or Laikipia. Chat to us for options.
