Get to Know Green Point
Studded with green spaces, Green Point is a pedestrian’s dream, with many vibrant restaurants and nightclubs keeping things exciting after dark.
Wedged between the V&A Waterfront, Table Bay and the city bowl, Green Point may be classified as a suburb, but it offers so many things to do and places to eat and drink that you won’t even feel like you have left a city centre. It’s only 10 minutes from the Cape Town CBD, yet it feels like a different and vibrant world.
Green Point Urban Park has wide open lawns, ponds, a biodiversity garden, children’s play areas and an outdoor gym. It’s free to visit the garden and families, friends and active folk gather here over weekends and after work. Green Point also has a nine-hole golf course and its sea frontage leads seamlessly into the Sea Point promenade.
