In South Luangwa, large herds of elephant and buffalo share this special wilderness with 14 antelope and three endemic mammal species. A renowned predator playground with a sizeable leopard population, be sure to keep a look out for this agile feline.
To add a whole new dimension to your luxury safari, climb on board a river cruise or slip into a canoe to make your way through meandering river channels. Float past lush islands and under riverine trees where hundred-strong herds of elephants come down to the water to drink. The Lower Zambezi is renowned for the quality of its guides, and is home to a stunning range of wildlife, including four of the big five.
