Your 3-Day Itinerary

You are met at the airport and private road transfer with our English speaking driver. The drive takes about 2.5 hours, depending on traffic.

You arrive at the quayside and will be taken to the island with the resort's boat. Located on roughly six hectares on Kalagala Island, Wildwaters Lodge lies on a unique private island mid-stream within the mighty River Nile. It is uniquely perched on granite rocks with dramatic and exciting rapids roaring all around.

The ten stand-alone elevated timber-floor and super-spacious luxury suites are nestled in the rainforest with amazing river views. Each are linked by raised wooden walkways to the restaurant, bar and library.

Relax at the lodge and appreciate a sunset cruise on the Nile before returning to the lodge for dinner and night.

We have included a full day excursion (with a picnic style lunch included) for you to experience some rafting on the Nile. This activity can be customized depending on your rafting experience, alternatively we can replace with a horse riding activity, or fishing, or canoeing.

A truly memorable full-day experience. You will drift amidst the breathtaking scenery of Wildwaters Reserve on the world’s most famous river. Marvel at the birdlife and raft through the breaking waves.

Return to the lodge, spend some time relaxing at the pool or enjoying a good book in a private corner with the view of the forest nearby. Dinner is enjoyed at the lodge and night.
