The Retreat is a collection of eighteen two-bedroom self-catering cottages situated in a far corner of the farm with exquisite mountain views.

This secluded venue has a carefree and relaxed atmosphere and is ideal for families or groups of friends. The cottages are about 3,5 km from the main werf, guests are advised to have their own transport. If you are travelling with children take a look at our edu play centre – The Tree House, where free range kids learn all about farm life. The fully supervised daily programme is available for accommodation guests aged 5 – 14yrs.

A large verandah, outside dining under the oaks and an eco friendly swimming pool add to the relaxed feel of the property, which is a South African National Heritage Site.
