Tanzania Safaris

The ultimate guide to your next Tanzania Safari

Follow in the footsteps of Africa’s oldest explorers and journey to East Africa, where the wild essence of Tanzania awakens your sense of adventure. Experience the pinnacle of safari life as you stand on the edge of the Serengeti, witnessing the annual spectacle of the Great Migration. Tanzania allows this endless procession of wildebeest and zebra to thrive year after year, their hooves thundering across the plains, as they navigate a perilous journey, shadowed by predators lurking in the tall grasses and murky waters.

Discover the otherworldly beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater, once a violent volcano and now a haven teeming with Africa’s most recognisable wildlife. Beyond the vast savannah, the majestic peak of Mount Kilimanjaro beckons, daring you to conquer its snow-capped summit. Then, allow yourself to thaw out in the sun-kissed paradise of Zanzibar, where powdery white sands meet the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Set off on an unforgettable Tanzania safari and lose yourself in the magic of safari in Tanzania. Here, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for: a land of thrilling safaris and serene island escapes, where luxury and adventure coexist in perfect symphony.

Dry Season: June to October and January to Mid-March

  • Green Checkmark Exceptional Wildlife Viewing: With scarce water sources and thin vegetation, animals are easy to spot as they congregate around rivers and waterholes.
  • Green Checkmark The Great Migration: This is the ideal time to witness a major event of the Great Migration. From June to October, you can see the dramatic river crossings in the northern Serengeti. During the short dry season from January to mid-March, the southern Serengeti plains burst with new life as wildebeest and zebra calves are born, attracting a high concentration of predators.

  • Red Error Icon Crowds: June to October is the peak season. Expect more safari vehicles and higher prices for accommodation and flights.

  • Red Error Icon Lower visibility: The dense foliage can make it harder to spot animals.
  • Red Error Icon Some closures: A few remote camps and lodges may close during the heaviest rainfall in the long wet season.
