Opening in September 2025, Mawimbi Bush Camp is situated between the Kafue River and a dambo wetland, offering a secluded retreat in Kafue National Park. This camp features four river-view tented suites – which can be booked on an exclusive basis – offering a quiet and private safari experience.
Mawimbi blends the beauty of its surroundings with thoughtful amenities such as a small outdoor plunge pool and solar-powered comforts. The camp’s open-plan lapa is where wholesome meals are shared, and Wi-Fi is available for those who want to reconnect with the outside world. Days here unfold at your pace with two included activities such as game drives, guided walks, and river trips, offering access to the park’s exceptional birdlife and impressive sightings of lions, cheetahs, and more.
