We had an amazing time visiting Namibia and South Africa. Our 15 day journey was packed with lots of adventure. Everything to accommodations, transportation by ground and air, excursions, dinner and lunches. Our tour guide/ driver Nico was so awesome. He spent 9 days with us and was amazing. Not to forget Megan who helped put our custom package together. Thank you for everything Megan and Nico did for us.

I hope one day to visit another place in Africa one day. I will definitely use this company again!!!

I was a little nervous getting into booking our recent Africa trip, as we were looking at the more expensive end (at our stage of life, we’ve earned a little comfort!) and fairly large numbers were involved. Regular contact with the same person is something I value in transactions. Matthys van Aswegen proved to be an excellent contact, personable and patient with my many enquiries.

The booking and payment process is clear, but it was the suggestions and recommendations that I particularly valued. Having transfers prebooked also adds to peace of mind. I look forward to using Discover Africa again for our next safari (yes, the Africa bug has bitten!) and recommend them unreservedly.

Andrew's Victoria Falls Experience

Discover Africa Safaris listened to what we wanted to experience in Africa and tailor made a series of fly in fly out safaris for us. The game drive locations that they chose were exceptional. This is why we came to Africa. Within minutes of our first game drive we were within metres of a pride of lions. The next day we were following a tracker on foot to a group of cheetah cubs.

They were contactable during our holiday and were able to resolve an issue which arose with one of our accommodation providers during our holiday. This enabled us to enjoy our holiday whilst they sorted out the issue in the background.

Overall, we had a very exciting experience at one camp in Kenya and two in Tanzania. The camp sites were great all had excellent food and service. Our three Safari guides/drivers were excellent. They spoke great English and had excellent knowledge about the animals and the local culture. All 3-guides had wonderful personalities who are well trained.

All three camps had very good accommodations, which progressively improved from a very nice soft tent camp to large luxurious farmhouse on a coffee plantation. Planning and coordination of the trip went well with drivers and guides at each transfer on time with excellent vehicles and service.

We had a minor airline delay at one of the airstrips which we communicated to our Discover Africa coordinator on WhatsApp and that was quickly resolved. We think that we got a good value for our money and recommend Discover Africa to anyone who wants private tours, guides and transfers throughout their trip.

The tour was beyond my expectations. Every part of our holiday was carefully planned with amazing destinations.

Susan from Discover Africa organized a truly amazing holiday for us. She created a trip that suited our requirements perfectly. Communication was excellent, and everything was organized perfectly so that we had a stress-free trip. Our accommodation was lovely, and we had our own knowledgeable safari guide to enable us to see the best of Tanzania and the wildlife. I would thoroughly recommend Discover Africa.

The tour was amazing. Everything was as advertised. The lodges selected for us were really nice All the guided tours allowed us to see all kinds of animals. The guides were very knowledgeable.

Discover Africa planned our 10 day trip across Botswana and Zimbabwe. From the very first call, Vihann at Discover Africa was hugely knowledgeable and communicative and understood our brief perfectly. Vihann was quick to send us a first itinerary and responsive to any comments we had to help us create the perfect trip. In the run up to the trip, Vihann remained on hand for any questions.

The care and professionalism that Discover Africa and Devryn and his team provided allowed us to experience the wonders of Africa without worry or concern… it was an amazing experience filled with awe and joy.

Megan Warrington was our Discover Africa expert. The day after I contacted the company, we scheduled a telephone call to discuss what we wanted on our trip to Africa, our budget, the amount of time we had to spend, and the time of year we wanted to go.

Megan immediately prepared an itinerary, which we tweaked a couple of times. Megan routinely reached out to us during the intervening months, to make sure we had no issues. She was always available by email. The trip she put together was very well planned, so we always knew when we would be picked up for the next part of our adventure. I could not have asked for a better planned safari.

Dee's Botswana Safari Experience

Africa is a fascinating continent. We went with Discovery Africa. We visited South Africa, where we visited Sabi Sand Reserve, where we could see the Big Five and a lot of small animals. Victoria Falls, with its magnificence, and the incredible Botswana, with its different natures, were also in a more remote area where we could share with animals.

Matthys Van Aswegen , created some very good moments for us. The choice of the lodges, Umkumbe, Elephant Valley, and Kadizora camp, were perfect in location, human warmth, and services.
Everything was great!
