Day 1

Madikwe Game Reserve

Staying at Royal Madikwe Luxury Safari Lodge

You start off your journey by checking into the Federal Air Lounge at Johannesburg Airport where you can enjoy a refreshment before boarding your scheduled flight direct to Madikwe Game Reserve. On arrival at Madikwe airstrip, you will be met and transferred to the lodge where you will spend the next three nights.

Day 2-3

Madikwe Game Reserve

Staying at Royal Madikwe Luxury Safari Lodge

Enjoy both daily dawn and dusk game drives to ensure that you get the most out of your safari experience. The Big Five are all present in Madikwe Game Reserve, as well as many species of birds, antelope and other mammals; including the endangered African Wild Dogs and Cheetah. You may also want to change one of the game drives to a bush walk with qualified guides, this allows you to follow in the footsteps of the animals and the opportunity to learn more about the smaller creatures as well as the flora that make up this unique wildlife reserve in Southern Africa. Other activities include star gazing, African drumming lessons and more.

Day 4

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Staying at Savanna Private Game Reserve

Today you depart Madikwe Game Reserve and head to another equally special reserve, the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight directly to the Sabi Sands Reserve. On arrival at Ulusaba Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Savanna Lodge for your transfer to the lodge where you will spend the next 3 nights.

Day 5-6

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Staying at Savanna Private Game Reserve

Savanna Lodge lies in an area where 'Big 5' sightings are frequent, whilst not guaranteed, it is not unusual to see lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino in a single game drive. The specially designed game viewing vehicles and highly trained guides with vast knowledge of the African bushveld, will take you on intimate encounters with a large variety of wildlife.

End Of Itinerary

This morning after enjoying your final game drive and hopefully creating some final incredible memories at Savanna Lodge, and breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Johannesburg Airport where your journey ends.
