First day of your African adventure

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport [JRO], you will be greeted and transferred to the Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge in Arusha.  

Here, you'll get a brief overview of your safari, giving you the chance to do any last minute preparation. You will stay overnight at the Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis, where you'll be given the opportunity to encounter Mount Meru cultural tourism walking tours, a Meru walking safari, Lake Duluti Forest Tour, Arusha city tour and coffee tour.

Onwards to Ngorongoro, the perfect start

Drive to the Ngorongoro for your first two days on safari! Bordering Kenya to the north, the Ngorongoro Region is known for its abundance of beautiful natural features. Look forward to a variety of activities such as viewing the epic Serengeti wildebeest migration, visiting a local Maasai village soaking up the remarkably diverse scenery and catching a glimpse of the magnificent bird and wildlife over 500 bird species.

Don't miss the opportunity to join a walking safari that will give you a chance to spot the Big five, hippo, zebra, antelope, lion, leopard and cheetah. Stay at The Manor for two nights with all your meals and local drinks included.

The Great Migration, it is hard to imagine

Spend your last four days on the plains with the herds, and also go looking for predators interaction. The Central Serengeti forms part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration as well as provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval and much more. Enjoy game viewing such as cultural tours, horse riding safaris, and hot air ballooning over the spectacularly scenic terrain. 

This is the ideal time to follow cheetah or lion to see what they're up to during the calving season. The Serengeti Pioneer Camp will be your home for the next four nights with all your fully inclusive and local drinks included.

End of calving safari!

After enjoying your final morning feast in the African bush, it’s time to make an exit. You will be transferred to Lake Manyara Airstrip for your flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport [JRO].
