Serengeti herds passing Elewana’s Migration Camp’s managers house
Hi Carel,
We've had many wildebeest pass Migration Camp with a huge crossing of the Grumeti River right infront of camp. As always, the video camera is not charged when they cross but I did manage to grab a few minutes of footage of them on the otherside of the river.

Grumeti River crossing at Migration Camp – upstream from the western corridor
Hi Carel,
Yes I'm back, we had a major crossing in front of Migration Camp a few days ago for about an hour or two. River was full so major amount of carcasses around, vulture, marabou stock etc.
I'll check with by Guides later for you as well.
Regards,
Ryan

Hello Carel,

The Lobo herds move towards Kogatende and the Mara River
Dear Carel,
Sorry for the delay on answering this but the big herd of wildebeest past the lodge a few days ago and at the moment they are heading to Kogatende further north of where we are.
Will keep you updated if any news comes up.

Herds at Mbuzi Mawe all coming together, general movement seems to be back south
Dear Carel,
I personally drove around the northern Serengeti as well as down to south / central Serengeti over the last week.
I noticed several large herds moving south all the way from the Sand River / Lobo / Bologonja / upper Grumeti / Kleins areas.
I then spent a night at Migration Camp and the following day I drove down south only to find that from Lobo right to Mbuzi Mawe all the herds came together, they were coming from all directions and joint up on Togoro plains north of Mbuzi Mawe.
I stayed at Pioneer Camp for one night on the 6th and on my return all the herds started heading east, some south east. There was also a huge herd moving thought the Seronera area.
Regards,
Ryan
