Okavango Delta, Moremi and Savuti Wilderness Safari

Day 1-2 - Okavango Delta

Your adventure begins in the lush surrounds of the Okavango Delta.

Situated in an ancient riverine forest, surrounded by open grasslands and island sanctuaries, the comfort of your luxury tented accommodation offers a viewing deck overlooking the tranquil lagoon which provides the perfect setting for soaking up the scerene ambience of the surrounding nature.

With an abundance of birdlife in the area, Seba Camp is a haven for all bird enthusiasts. Opt for an informative bush walk or relaxing makoro boat trip.

Spend your afternoons on game drives tracking giraffe, zebra, elephant, impala, tsessebe and lechwe to wildebeest, buffalo, warthogs or lion through the wilderness. After an afternoon game drive, return to your camp and take a dip in the cooling water of a plunge pool.

Have the bar staff russel you up a cocktail and watch the stunning sunset while you sit around a traditional camp fire.

After enjoying a delectable experience of African cuisine and fireside stories, drift off to sleep to the soothing lull of the wild where lion call is often the sound track of the evening.

Overnight at Seba Camp (Luxury Tent ) or similar/alternative hotel.

Day 3-4 - Okavango Delta

The next two days in the Okavango Delta can be filled with scenic boating, fishing and makoro trips. Venture into the Moremi Game Reserve and enjoy day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, walking safaris and a general exploration of the stunning wildlife and birdlife of the area.

These activities can be arranged and booked with your accommodation as optional extras.

Day 5-7 - Linyanti Concession - Savuti

If enjoying the next three days at DumaTau, game drives, walking safaris, or water based flora and fauna spotting can be enjoyed while in the area. Also, if you’re game, why not venture into the Chobe National Park to scope out the plethora of wildlife and birdlife? The tranquil waterways surrounding the camp lure a variety of wildlife and birdlife, proving to be a lush destination for a safari experience. All year round general wildlife viewing is excellent, with elephant, impala, wildebeest, red lechwe, Burchell's zebra, giraffe, Cape buffalo, chacma baboon, vervet monkey, and warthog rearing their head in the bush. Predator sightings include lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyaena. A feast for the eyes when a safari experience is on the menu.

If spending the next three days at Savuti Camp, this particular stretch of Africa is the perfect setting for stunning photographic moments. Cheetahs, lions, ostriches and hyenas have been known to be spotted swimming across the Savuti channel, making for wonderful photo opportunities. Engulf yourself in the African surrounds and try your hand at catching bream right from the main deck, casting a fishing line into the channel!

Guided day, and night game drives and nature walks provide an opportunity to view roan, sable, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena and elephant.
