Selinda Riverside Camp
The Selinda Canoe Trail operates seasonally from May to October, depending on rainfall during the preceding rainy season.
Day 1-3 - Selinda - Okavango Delta - Botswana
Make sure you eat a hearty breakfast before the adventure begins. The trip kicks off late morning with a game drive transfer from Selinda airstrip, through the Selinda Reserve to the starting point on the Selinda Spillway. Guide your Canadian-style canoe into the water, hop in and set off paddling downstream. Wade through fields of lily pads and the winding channels of the spillway.
The tranquil journey offers you the chance to view a variety of wildlife and bird species. Elephant, buffalo, sable antelope, roan antelope and wild dog are commonly seen along the banks, as well as some 300 bird species.
Overnight at Selinda Riverside Camp (Mobile tented camp) or similar/alternative hotel.
Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner.
Day 4 - Selinda - Okavango Delta - Botswana
After three days reveling in the mix that lends to this African adventure, travel once more by road to the Selinda airstrip where you can either return home or link this adventure with an additional overland trip.
Overnight at Selinda Riverside Camp (Mobile tented camp) or similar/alternative hotel.
