    Day 1 - Johannesburg - Waterberg

    Upon arrival in Johannesburg collect your rental vehicle and continue on to Waterberg where the Kololo Game Reserve awaits your arrival. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Optional wildlife game viewing, a guided walks or an exploration of the Big 5 on horseback is all available to you on request.

    Overnight at Kololo Game Reserve (Standard Chalet) or similar/alternative hotel.
    Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner.

    Day 2 - Waterberg - Makhado

    Rise early to start the day with optional game viewing activities before continuing along the Ribolla Arts Route. The Limpopo Province is renowned for its arts, crafts and design. When following this route, crafters, artists, dancers, storytellers and singers will impress you with their performances. Your final destination of the day is Makhado; the land of litchis, bananas, mangos and nuts. Spend the afternoon exploring this small and charming town resting in the shadow of Soutpansberg.

    Day 3 - Makhado - Tzaneen

    On your way from Makhado you will pass the Modjadji Cycad Reserve. Situated in the Lobedu Mountains this nature reserve is home to some of the oldest and largest Cycad specimens on earth. Thanks to strict protection the natural forest is conserved in its prehistoric state.

    Later today you will stop in Modjadjiskloof where the “Big Baobab” stroke roots about 6000 years ago. This baobab is world-famous for being the widest of its species.

    Your day will come to an end after you have reached Tzaneen; an appealing subtropical garden town. Enjoy a quiet evening at the foot of the Wolkberg Mountain.

    Day 4-5 - Tzaneen - Phalaborwa

    Today you will leave Tzaneen behind and move on to Phalaborwa near the Kruger National Park. In the evening why not enjoy a game drive where you can soak up the stunning beauty of Kruger National Park. The evening ends around a cozy Bush Braai where impressions gathered throughout the trip are exchanged under the African stars.

    Day five offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a full day safari if you wish or spend the afternoon relaxing on a river cruise which offers opportunity to further discover Africa’s wildlife and spot the Big 5.

    Day 6 - Phalaborwa - Graskop

    It’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful Kruger National Park. Your journey will lead you over the magnificent Panorama Route best known for its cultural heritage and its spectacular landscapes. One of the Panoramic Route’s highlights is Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world.

    Along the route you will stumble across a vast array of adrenaline pumping adventures awaiting your bravery.

    Your evening is spent in the beatiful forestry town of Graskop on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment.

    Overnight at Graskop Hotel (Standard Room) or similar/alternative hotel.
    Meals included: Breakfast.

    Day 7 - Graskop - Johannesburg

    Before returning to Johannesburg, why not make a turn into the Sudwala Caves, which are the oldest known caves in the world. The caves have formed over 3000 million years, capturing in stone a time when warm shallow in-land seas covered the area. A highly recommended destination well worth a visit.

    After having seen this natural spectacle it is time to return to Johannesburg, where the tour ends.
