    Day 1 - Cape Town - Cape Winelands - Cango Caves - Oudtshoorn

    Departing from Cape Town, the tour will lead you along the world’s longest wine route; Route 62. En route, you pass through Worcester, Montagu and Robertson, all picturesque wine producing villages. You visit the towns of Barrydale and Calitzdorp, where the Cape’s diverse scenery is displayed to its full potential, highlighting the ever-changing semi-desert areas. In the afternoon you will discover the spectacular dripstone Cango Caves. Overnight you will stay in Oudtshoorn, once the ostrich feather capital of the world.

    Day 2 - Oudtshoorn - Knysna

    The day starts with a visit of a local ostrich farm. An experienced guide will explain and answer your questions from the egg to the full-grown ostrich. If you are a daredevil, you can even ride one of the world’s biggest birds.

    After the farm visit you will depart from Oudtshoorn and travel via the Outeniqua Pass to George, Wilderness and Knysna; all offering spectacular scenic views. Enjoy your evening in beautiful Knysna, also known as South Africa’s oyster capital.

    Day 3 - Knysna - Mossel Bay

    Leaving Knysna behind and driving through Wilderness via Dolphin Point will lead you to historic Mossel Bay. Send a postcard to friends or relatives from the famous Post Office Tree before visiting the Diaz and Maritime Museums with their relics of famous explorers.

    In the afternoon you will experience Africa’s wild side. Enjoy a game drive in a private game reserve and spot the Big 5. Have the evening come to an end around an African Boma.

    Day 4 - Mossel Bay - Waenhuiskrans

    Your day kicks off with an early morning game drive followed by an informative tour of the lodge’s Reptile Centre and Cheetah Breeding Centre.

    Afterwards you travel via Swellendam to your hotel at Waterhuiskrans. Explore this town beautifully set between white limestone cliffs, giant sand dunes, pristine beaches, stunning nature reserves and the aquamarine waters of the Indian Ocean.

    Day 5 - Waenhuiskrans - Hermanus - Cape Town

    Start the day by visiting Cape Agulhas, the most southern tip of Africa. The tour continues to Hermanus, famous for being the best land based whale-watching site in the world.

    The journey back to Cape Town continues via False Bay giving away spectacular views of the coastline, Cape Point and Table Mountain.

    They say that all good things come to an end, as does this tour, however, this trip will not be soon forgotten.
