Day 1 - Cape Town

After arriving in Cape Town, check in to your hotel and let ‘The Mother City’ welcome you with a variety of options available to explore her city centre. Why not visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a shopaholic’s dream and every person’s cup of tea with a diversity of activities in and along the harbour amphitheatre.

Day 2 - Cape Point

Today’s journey takes you along the scenic twists of the South Peninsula coastline. The path takes you on a mountain hugging route to Cape Point, which is one of the best spots in Cape Town for viewing frolicking whales and dolphins, in season. Returning back to the city, you pass through Simon’s Town, armed with its quaint atmosphere and naval history. If you’re feeling peckish, stop for a bite at Simon’s Town Harbour, and sample some of the local catch (at your own expense).

Day 3 - Cape Winelands

It’s into the winelands we go, visiting two of the Cape’s well-known wine estates. The area’s vineyards, forests and mountains offer a full-bodied flavour of the Cape. The days’ journey takes you through the quiet beauty of the winemaking region where you get to swirl, sniff and taste the wine.

Day 4 - Cape Town - Kruger National Park

It’s off to Kruger this morning (flight not included in package price).  On arrival, transfer to the world famous Kruger National Park via Hazyview, where your gripping African safari adventure begins.  The afternoon sees you traversing the park in an open safari vehicle on the hunt to spot the Big Five. Large numbers of wildlife ensure a good chance of getting to tick a number of game off of your animal sightings list.

Day 5 - Kruger National Park

A full day in Kruger National Park is on the cards for today. Enjoyed being surrounded by the natural beauty and wild African ambience that runs through the park. Wake at dawn and embark on an early morning safari exploring the still of day break and the awakening of wildlife and birdlife. Your afternoon can be enjoyed with a soothing siesta, before embarking on a late afternoon game drive, back on the trail to view the Kruger’s wild beasts, birds and their playground of vegetation.

Day 6 - Kruger National Park

Rise early to enjoy watching a stunning African sunrise while you tuck into a hearty breakfast. Depart the reserve and head back to Johannesburg’s airport, with a newly discovered appreciation for fynbos, tannins and sunblock.
