Hazyview Interaction and Elephant Ride

Witness the intelligence and compassionate nature of the world’s largest living land animal, the elephant, by interacting with them and going on an elephant-back ride.

Set on the banks of the Sabi River is the 2,000-hectare Sandford Conservancy, where you'll find six rescued African elephants waiting to welcome you. Touch them, feel them and connect with them while you whisper into those great big flapping ears. These gentle giants seem to enjoy the interaction as much as you do.

You can then saddle up and ride high on the elephant’s back, where you get better views of the beautiful surrounding area. It's an amazing feeling to amble through the African bush on the back of an elephant, and you’re perfectly safe with the elephant handler close by.
