Like the rest of Kruger National Park, Mpanamana Concession has two distinct seasons – a mild, dry season and a hot, wet season. The dry season runs from May to October, and this is when wildlife viewing is at its best, as game converges on the waterholes in search of nourishment. The wet season runs from November to April, bringing afternoon rains and the odd thunderstorm. Soon after the rainy season, birdlife is at its richest, with the landscapes turning green and fresh.
