Big rains in Naboiaho
Morning Carel, large herds were coming from the Sand River up towards Keekorok. Several crossings have been seen around the Lookout Hill area heading into the Mara Triangle. I have also heard lots of them around Governors sides. Very few wildebeest left in Naboisho at the moment. Big rains here in Naboisho so they may return. Should be an interesting next few weeks as they may leave or may come back!?!? Keep well Andrew – Image credit Andrew Conway

Plenty of zebra and wildebeest throughout Naboisho
Morning Carel, we have plenty of zebra and wildebeest throughout Naboisho but very little movement, some crossings over the Talek River but not much over the Mara River itself other than the Entim Camp crossing. We are enjoying good game drives and also night game drives with lots of predator activity. Thanks – Zarek

Two separate lions on two separate wildebeest kills
Hi Carel – Like I mentioned this morning, we had two separate lions on two separate wildebeest kills. And throughout the conservancy, no matter where you go, there are large herds of wildebeest either grazing or moving in long, long lines across the plains. Attached is a photo of one of the lionesses with her kill, as well as two pics of distant wildebeest from the site of that kill, your client has arrived and right on time, incredible! Zarek

Plenty of wildebeest and zebra in Naboisho
Morning Carel, there are big crossings of the Sand and Mara rivers. Our guests are having great sightings of lion, cheetah and leopard all taking advantage of the herds, lots of “interaction” big herds / numbers in the reserve now. There are plenty of wildebeest and zebra in Naboisho as well, but not the main bulk yet and because of that, Naboisho is full of elephants getting away from the wildebeest, so a good time to be here, the best of both worlds, keep well Zarek

Rare to have them both here
Morning Carel, news from Naibosho – we took a little drive out onto the plains, to celebrate Colin’s birthday it was amazing to see the amount of wildebeest flowing though. There must have been more that 3000! And they keep on coming! Around camp you can hear huge amounts of them and it looks like its starting, definitly a combination of the Serengeti and Loita migration – rare to have them both here at the same time! Have a fantastic day Kind regards Chala
