Islands of Siankaba
The private balcony extending over the river makes it a unique getaway experience.
Location
The Islands of Siankaba compromises two densely forested islands in the Zambezi River 24 miles upstream from the renowned 'Victoria Falls' and just 30 miles from the magnificent Chobe National Park.
Room Features
The lodge has a remote location feeling, being far enough away from the commerciality of the Victoria Falls area but close enough for guests to go and experience the falls themselves and the host of activities to be done there. The stylish and contemporary chalets were refurbished in July 2011 and so are well appointed and extremely comfortable. All chalets have verandahs that cantilever over the river - so river views are unsurpassed.
The 7 luxury tents are raised up above the ground in the tree canopy keeping guests safe and protecting the fragile riverine environment underneath. The principle guest amenities (dining room, lounge, bar, massage suite and swimming pool) are located on the larger of the two islands. The islands are linked by a suspension bridge and raised walkways.
